Sutton Coldfield’s long standing Head Professional is Jerry Hayes. He became a professional golfer in 1973, and has been resident at the Club since 1987. Over the last 30 years Jerry has been teaching equipment technology to youngsters from all over the world including countries such Russia, South Africa, Spain, Portugal, Saudi Arabia and many more. In addition Jerry lectures to Golf Management Scheme degree students at Birmingham University.

Assistant to Jerry is Andrew Cheese who like Jerry is a fully qualified Level 3 coaching professional.

Either from Jerry or Andrew to members or visitors, offering:-

- Video analysis

- Playing lessons

- One to one lessons

- Junior group lessons during the Summer

and costing:-

- 45 Minutes:    £25

- 10 Holes:       £35

A full, fast, repair service is available on all makes of equipment from re-shafting to re-gripping, and club loft & lie adjustment.

We hire:-

- pull trolley, £2

- electric buggy, £20 (Only two available)

The well-stocked shop offers the full range of Ping equipment including drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, wedges and putters, together with equipment from other leading manufacturers including Titleist, Callaway, Wilson, Mizuno, etc.

Demonstration clubs are available for trial, and all equipment can be fitted to individual requirements, and at competitive prices.

There is a full range of men’s and ladies clothing including Ping, Lyle & Scott, Glenmuir, Stromberg, Footjoy, Nike, Sunderland, and Pro-Quip, together with the full range of Footjoy shoes and a small range of Nike shoes.

In addition there is an extensive choice of golf balls, gloves, bags and other accessories, and a range of both manual and electric trolleys.
